Hosts are tasked with providing friendly, responsive service to create an exceptional dining experience for all of our guests, they do this by welcoming and warmly greeting guests on arrival. It is their duty to manage the efficient and timely seating of our guests to a table that best serves their wishes.
Servers are expected to provide friendly, responsive service to create an exceptional dining experience for all of our guests. Each server’s primary objective is to provide our guests’ with a experience that makes them want to return. Applicants for this position are to be 18 years of age or older and will be provided the means to obtain a state approved Food Handler certification.
Servers Assistants help servers in presenting and providing food and beverages to all guests, along with refilling beverages and chip baskets. Server Assistants are also responsible with removing used tableware between courses; clear and reset tables after guests leave.
Bartenders are expected to provide timely, accurate and friendly service of both food and alcoholic beverages to our guests seated at the bar. This position involves consistently coordinating and interacting with serving staff and various other front of house team members. Applicants for this position will be 21 years of age or older, appropriately certified by TABC, and able to present a valid license.
Cooks are expected to work in a fast paced environment preparing and cooking meals ordered by our guests. This position involves interacting with all members of the Petra Team, from servers to dishwashers. Cooks must be able to operate various kitchen equipment and utensils to ensure the high quality of our dining experience. Similarly, cooks are expected to adhere to the health and cleanliness standards established by Petra and maintain inventory of food items and kitchen utensils.
Dishwashers are expected to cleans dishes, cooking utensils, glasses, eating utensils and kitchen equipment. This position requires a focus on teamwork and efficiency as dishwashers work closely with other members of our Petra Team. Applicants seeking the dishwasher position will have a strong work ethic and attention to detail.
